List of Works

Lauded as a pioneer in composition, Warren Benson is best known for his works for wind ensemble and percussion, while his song cycles and chamber works have also drawn strong praise.

A prolific composer, Benson wrote over 100 pieces. He spent hours composing in his home studio at the upright piano, or over a score on the dining room table making corrections. He took the same joy in composing a new work for large ensemble as he did in writing for his housepainter or grandchildren or friends.
The following is a list of available works.
